The primary suburb of the city of Charleston is located north of the city. The aptly named North Charleston houses 115,000 people and sits across three counties and is the third most populous city in South Carolina. Sitting just north of the downtown, touristy area, this part of town is occupied more by locals. Below we have outlined some parks where you can enjoy your next big outdoor event.
Park Circle
The primary park is located in the center of town. Due to its proximity to the Olde Village Business Area, there are plenty of amazing shopping and dining options near this park. There is a disc golf course in the park too. In addition, there are festivals and parades held in this park.

Quarterman Park
Known to locals as Duck Pond, there are many types of avian wildlife here. The park is within walking distance of the main shopping areas of town, the Olde Village Business Area. There are no rental areas available so feel free to enjoy your own free picnic there.

Riverfront Park
Residing on the Cooper River, and appropriately named, this large green space has a performance pavilion. There are historic homes nearby and a lovely walk along the docks near the river. You can even get married at this park. There is a phone number at this link that you can use to rent any of the facilities.

Kapstone Park
North of town lies this park that is also known as Ingevity-Westrock Park. This 40 acre park has baseball/softball fields, a play area, and shelter facilities. There is a phone number at this link that you can use to rent any of the facilities.

Collins Park
On the western side of town, this park is actually west of the airport and air force base, this park is famous for its baseball and softball fields. It also has tennis courts, a play area, and community center. We could not find any rental info online so feel free to enjoy our time outdoors at the picnic areas.
